White specs on glass with "feather"

I have these white specs showing up on tank glass. If you look really closely (and they are small..so you have to look very close), it looks like they have "fans" coming out of them just like fanworms you see on live rock. Any idea what these are? My tank is about 3 mos old and these have just started popping up. There are easily 100 of them.

Your gonna see all kinds of goodies. The ones on glass, possibly hydroids...

i had these in my tank too... These look like mini-feather dusters I am assuming? If you look closely, they probably look spiral in shape? If so these are good filter feeders... You can scape them off of the glass if it is bothering you, but any no other parts of the tank are good.

That is exactly what they look like. Don't bother me..only on sides and back since I keep front glass clean. Was just curious..thanks!

Spirorbid worms. Harmless little dusters. If they get to be too much you can scrape them off with a razor or Kent scraper.
