MP40w ES

How many of these should I have a 75 (mostly softies). I have 2 SEIO 820's (back top right and back top left) 1 SEIO 620 (back Bottom right) and a maxi 1200 (back bottom left pointed at the fron with a mag 5 for my return from my sump. How many of these can I get rid of if I get 1 MP40, or 2 MP40's or 1 MP40 and 1 MP10??

Or should I keep my SEIO;s and add a wavebox?

I replaced 5 koralia's with to 40's in a 75. They were 2-3's, 1-4 , 1-2 & a nano.

The "dry side" is not water proof I assume, I would love to put the wet side in the tank and the dry side in the overflow

IMO if you don't plan to keep SPS, one MP40-ES should be more than enough. You can also do two MP10's (scrapping the 40) for alternate flow!

I ran a 65g tall with just one MP20 and was quite happy with it. Now I have a 125g with an MP20 and an MP40. The 40's are way louder then the 20's IME.

You would be able to get rid of all of the other powerheads with a single MP40 IMO, really depends a lot on your stock and your tank to say for sure though.

HTH
