Comp fan cooling, what happens if you dont supply enough amps
I have 6 12v DC computer fans that require 0.26 amps each hooked into an AC/DC converter that supplies 1.5 amps. Everything is running great but the tanks a little hot still and I want to add one more fan. I'm currently requiring 1.56 amps out of a 1.5 amp unit and the fans run fine.
What happens if I hook up another fan so that combined they require 1.82 amps out of a 1.5 amp AC/DC converter? |

The voltage and speed may drop (measure the 12VDC and see if it does) from the load. You may burn out the power adapter.
