New to the Hobby with 90 gal tank
My brother ric is helping me set up a 90 gall reef tank (coral and fish both), we have a 20 gal sump with skimmer and are planning to get a RO/DI unit for the water and getting LED Lights. my question is that i want to put a Blue hippo tang in with a powder brown tang or if not the powder brown tang then deff a NASO tang is this doable? or am i being a complt dumb *** for thinking about such heresy?
oh and i dont want to keep the yellow tang in with the blue hippo i just dont like them |

You are pushing the limits with the Hippo and Brown tangs, no way you should keep a Naso in anything less than a 180.

if you are planning on trying the powder brown, with or without other tangs, i would at a minimum recommend thinking about adding a uv to your setup, they tend to be very susceptible to ich, the more stressed they are the worse the outbreaks, the smaller the tank and the more tangs the worse the stress, it seems to help

WELCOME TO RC AND THE ADDICTION!!!
Its never what you want to hear when you like a fish...but I totally agree with thegrun! What other fish are you thinking of? What would be your "fav" fish? Then you could work around that one You should make a full list of all the fish you would like to have and then research their sizes, compatibilities with each other and corals..and of course, ask as many questions as need be here!!! Can't wait to see Pictures and your Progress!!!
