You could add one more nano or slightly larger. More is better to a point.

So then maybe I just get the K Nano 425gph as a second power head, do I need two in a 29g BC?

In my 35g i run two Koralia Nano's, a K2 and the return from a small HoB and despite only keeping softies i still want more flow, mainly over the sand.

Re: Hydor Nano
I ended up with my return being split two ways, a k Nano and k 1 in my 29bc and I think it is finally perfect.
Good luck.
