DIY case fan - power supply

I want to use a computer case fan as a simple DIY cooling system:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811999602

Does anybody know of a cheap power supply that I can plug straight into the AC outlet? What are the voltages, red=+5V, yellow=+12V, and black=gnd?

One would be sufficient for my tank? It's 30 gallons 36"x12"x16". Is there something I can use to control the speed of the fan, or just on/off? Thanks

I bought two 120mm fans and used this fancy little contraption to plug both of them right into the wall. I would spring for the extra long one if you have any distance to go because even that one isn't all that long.

http://www.coolerguys.com/840556088776.html - This is what plugs into the wall.
http://www.coolerguys.com/840556087083.html - This connects to the fans.

So if I got an 80mm fan would one be enough for my tank, or should I get two?

Just use an old phone charger or something like it... If you look closely you can see the output i.e. 12vdc 500mA, and then just find a fan than runs of that voltage just mix and match the charger and fan!

Radio shack fans seem to work well. I have used them for years. First as cooling fans for my audio/video equipment and now one for drawing air out of my wine cellar and one in my sump area. The two fans are atleast 12 years old and still going strong!
