sealant question

Got a question about sealant. I know that everyone says that GE 1 works and I have used that, but there is some that we use at work that I wonder if it would work. It is called Bondaflex. A silicone constrution sealant/adhesive. Here is what is says........

Bondaflex is a one part neutral fast curing silicone sealant and adhesive that cures in the presence of atmospheric moisture to produce a durable and flexible silicone rubber. Is formulated for back beading and fabrication of vinyl, wood, aluminum, and steel window, doors and skylights. Can be used for adhering glass, wood, metal, ceramic, and many plastics.

Ingredients...Dimethyl Siloxane, Silica, amorphous, Oximino silane, Alkoxysilane, Calcium Carbonate

Does this sound useable for a tank repair or sump?

No idea about that product.

I use Momentive RTV108 clear OR Momentive RTV103 Black. You can get it at Grainger.

I've never seen it at any store, only at work. That's why I tried to post some of what it can be used for and the ingredients. Just a thought, I don't have to use it.

You know what. Ask this question in the DIY forum, they can tell you if those ingredients are reef safe or not. They are constantly debating that subject, just be ready for some "tough love" when you ask that question.
