bubble algea!!! ah!
i got an emerald crab about a week ago, and he hasn't done much. he ate a few, and then popped a big one. i saw him get frustrated and just poke it with his claw.
bubble algea keeps popping up everywhere now. What can i do about spores in the water and removing them? I'm afraid to do it myself.. and if i do do it myself, and pop one.. what can i do? |

Manually remove them with you siphon hose during water change. If you accidentally pop on it will siphon out the spores as well it's the only way it ever worked for me. If bubbles are only in one area then take whatever it's attached to out of the tank and carefully remove them. Bubble algae is the worst I have been fighting it for 6-8 months and I'm just starting to win the battle but I still have some so it's not over yet.
