46 gal using 2x Koralia 2

Are two Koralia 2 power heads ok with a 46 gal bowfront tank?

Shouldnt be a problem. Depends on what you want to keep. The 2s arent much stronger than the 1s IMO. but like i said it shouldnt be problem if your just keeping a mixed reef. The k2s put out a nice gentle flow

I also have a koralia 4 but nevous to put it in that it will blow all the water out of the tank.

i used a 1 in a ten gallon and a 3 in a 35. A 4 has a little more power but as long as its not out of control throwing your sand bed around it should be fine. i run over 2500gph internal in my 90 but its up high so my sandbed is not disturbed as much. I wouldnt suggest the 4 but it could work. honestly even though you dont have the 3 i think it would work perfect. Seio super flow pumps are great too i run a 820 in my 90 and i would compare it to the k3 plus some but below the k4

I used 2 3's in my old 30g and it was the perfect amount of flow. I would personally go with them.

Don't forget to factor in the flow from your return too. I had 2 K2s and a Quiet One 3000 in my 45g and it was too much flow, IMO. My clowns were struggling and my sinularia wouldn't open. I cut back the return flow and now have 1 K1 and 1 K2. To each his own though.

I've got a 1 and a 2 in my 46 bow and a 3rd unknown pump. I will be going with 2 k3's soon.

i also have a 46 gal and I have one Koralia 425 and one Koralia 750 (the newer 1's and 2's and I think the flow is just a little to small)
