Bubble trap idea I came up with

I made my sump tank useing a 29 gal tank and used acrylic deviders and I made a bubble trap but I still had bubbles building up in my evaperation chamber so I devised a way to stop them. I took a air bubble tube and cut it a smidge longer than the inner width of the tank and I wrapped a piece of nylon netting over it and attatched the caps of the bubble tube to hold the netting and that allowed me to drape the netting and let it hang down into the bubble trap and now I get no bubbles at all. I have some pictures in the album section of this site . I hope that someone can use this Idea. I am new to this hobby and wow is it cooooool I LOVE IT.

Wow, that's pretty cool. It's so simple yet i've never heard of anyone thinking of doing that. Thanks for posting that idea. It obviously works.

Very interesting... I looked at your album and I might have to give it a try. My baffles are setup a bit different, but right now I'm using foam that need very frequent cleaning.
