dwarf lionfish.. dying?
I got a dwarf lionfish yesterday and in the night at 2 I checked on him and he was floating upside down at the top... I thought he was dead and after 10 minutes he started to try too swim and not float upside down and he was swimming around but only to find that his body kept making him be upside down ;( he's probably dying right? He currently positioned himself behind the side of the powerhead.... if he dies will it be harmful to the other fish in the tank? (Blue and yellow tang) I'm so worried!

He is dying and when you find he is dead just take him out of the aquarium right away. As long it is not in the tank and starts rotting you should not have a problem.

Sorry to hear about your lion. Sounds like he his going to die. If he does it will not hurt your other fish. You will still want to take him out of the aquarium. Be very carefull even if the lion is dead you can still be stung. Not a pleasant experience.

Thank you... I'm so sad tho... if it had to happen tho at least he's still guaranteed by the store and he won't hurt the other fish... by the way.. I see ur from kalamazoo.. I'm from battle creek.. lol
