Who feed heavily
Who feed heavily with no real algae problems and what do you equate to that success?

I feed moderately with no algae issues.
I have 2 fuges with chaeto and a denitrifier. I also have a very good skimmer. |

I don't go overboard, but I do feed quite a bit of food daily. Vodka is how I get away with it.

I feed quite a bit, I have an angel that likes corals if he is hungry. I have a fuge with chaeto and extra live rock, and run carbon 24/7 (more than is reccomended) I also have a good skimmer.

Not sure if this equates to heavy feeding:
-system volume is 26-27g. -feed 1-2 times every day. -approximately 1 cube of mysis, 1 cube of cyclop-eeze; the freezer-bar brand and a pinch of Formula One Flakes every feeding. -success is most likely from a fuge where Chaeto is grown, and hundreds of Spionid worms. -no skimmer (yet), no carbon, no media of any kind. -bi-weekly 4g WC's |

i feed quite heavily. i wet skim, run carbon, purigen, and rowaphos 24/7 and i have 2 fuges with cheato and misc algae. i also have a foxface rabbitfish, which i only feed clip seaweed once a week- i believe it forces him to rock graze and forage more on in-tank algae. he definitely eats the daily mysid i feed the tank.
also, in a way, i consider my fuges to be somewhat of an algae scrubber, where i grow all sorts of algae in there, including green hair, and i let the cyano build up a little in there as well. it never spreads to the display. sometimes i feel like green hair algae and cyano are really efficient at nutrient uptake so i let it grow a little in the fuges.
