protein skimmer pump
I recently acquired a 28 gal nano cube hqi and the pumps used to run the protein skimmers are too loud for my living room...I'm wondering if anyone knows of a pump that would run them and be quiet.
These are pics of the skimmers and pumps. on the bottom of the pumps it says the output is 4.5 L.min. and the pressure is 0.012 MPa. also not sure what the knobs on front do (output I'm assuming). Hope these help If these are too big, maybe I could go with a smaller...much quieter version? Let me know Thanks for all your help Leah |

They are just air pumps right? The adjustment is the amount of air the push correct?

You could probably just go in to one of the chain pet stores and find an plug it in right there in the store..That is if it's just an ir pump. If the new pump is not adjustable you can just buy a cheap valve to control the valve/
