New Warner Marine EcoBak pellet
For all those who picked up WM new EcoBak pellet at the last SCRK meeting or other purchased other place, how is it working for you? I'm interested in using this product but was looking for opinions on the product. Thanks

Its way to early to tell any differnce beign that they just came out and there were only a few beta testers maybe they can chime in but intill then you're at least looking at a month before u really start hearing anything.

A month would be ideal to see results. I would not expect much before then. Also those with very powerful skimmers should see faster results just like any other bacterial system.

Phosphates were tested with a Hanna colorimeter in front of the SCMAS club so the numbers are valid. All I have on my system are the WM pellets,a WM AS200 skimmer and carbon.

Started running the WM pellets the night of the presentation. I am now getting a lot of nasty stuff in my skimmer. Much more now than with just dosing bacteria/carbon source. I too just have WM pellets, a Octo-Extreme 160 skimmer and carbon.

I like the idea of just having to add the pellets, You dont have to add a carbon source too cause its in it already. Hows this stuff gonna react/work if you use tm bioactif or that new seachem salt with this kinda concept in it already?

That's a good question. I've been using bioactif for over a month now. I talked to Jon about this salt, complaining it has caused a big cyano outbreak in my tank since I started using it. He said that they should let people know the amount and type of carbon source they are adding to their salt. Once this bucket is gone, I will switch to their Tropic Marin Pro.

From what I've heard there are two sources in the world for the ingredients. One is in China and one is the original source here in the USA. Hopefully WM's is from the US source, cause China's reputation isn't that good with food grade quality control.
