Just looking for some IDs, pics.
Just C&Ping this over from the Tampa Bay Saltwater forums to try and get a quicker response. Dunno how long these guys are gonna want to chill in this little plastic container.
Hey guys, Just shifting my LR over to the display system now and my crabs need to audition for you all to determine if they'll be following. Here are the pictures of the ones I caught, I figure if there are any I missed I can probably identify them based on what you all let me know here. So ideally, what kind of crab is it and is it reef safe or at least, is it reef safe? I do have a refugium if that'd be a more appropriate place for any of them, but I don't want any cold blooded killers down there if ya know what I mean. Thanks! it should be noted that the large crab here does not have black tipped claws, the tips are red ...and here are the 3 large ones together

I'm not sure about the brown ones, but I'm going to guess a Mithraculus species for the red one. Maybe Mithraculus forceps? Not sure where that would put it on the reef safe-ness scale unfortunately.

The one in the first pic does not look reef safe to me. I would place them in a sump. A lot of crabs and shrimp can cause trouble IME.
