ReefKeeper Lite timers not going off

I just got a reefkeeper l3, and my power isn't shutting off as assumed to the outlets. For example, it shuts off the first MH like normal, but the second one doesn't go off for about 10 minutes. I checked everything, and really can't see what I'm doing wrong. This I can live with, but the bigger problem is it is not shutting off the pump with the kalk off. When I put in a light instead of the pump, the light flickers for a second like I set it to work, then is off for 5 minutes, like I set it for. But the pump in the same socket just keeps going. Is there something I'm missing?

If the outlet the dosing pump is on is switched with a triac there is not enough draw for it to properly operate. I'm not sure if the RKL has any relay based outlets, but I do know that the aquacontroller jr does and those relay sockets must be the ones used for dosing pumps for it to work correctly.

ok, I just looked up some specs on it, which outlet setup do you have for it? The PC4 has 2 relay output and 2 Solid state outputs on it. You definitely need to look in the booklet to find out which output is a relay and put your dosing pump on that one.

Cheers

That worked for the pump, I'll do the MH tomorrow. Thank you very much.

In reference to the PC4's MH Lights go on channel 1 & 4, and the rest of your equipment can go to channel 2 & 3. That's the way I have it on my RKE with no issues.

Any of your equipment that draws high electrical amps, must go to channel 1 & 4.
