Help tuning in my Calcium Reactor
So this is my first reactor, and I just finished setting it up. My parameters right now, as of when the reactor is being first started are
ca: 490 Alk 9.5 Mg: 1300 I am using dolomite around 10-15% to maintain Mg levels. Now as everything is already a bit high, I want to start using the reactor but at a low level. Right now I have a bubble rate of around 35 per second. Can anyone give me some advice? Should I leave it off until Alk & Ca come down a bit? Is it wise to leave it on, but running a pretty low bubble count? What else should I be checking? Does the pH on effluent NEED to be at a certain sweet spot? Thanks |

I just took an effluent sample, and the pH was at 6.7, so I lowered the size of the bubbles a bit. I have an aquariumplants regulator btw if it makes a difference
