got a tank that is 36"lX18X16...how many gallons...40 breeder????

I think RC has one, but if you search "aquarium calculator" in google.. it comes up with this..
http://www.fishlore.com/ConversionCalculator.htm ..which is what I use to determine approximate tank sizes. It looks like the tank you have about is about 45 gallons.

I believe you do (lxwxh)/231 to get the gallons for the tank.
36x18x16 = 10368 / 231 = 44.88 Gallons |

It's a 40B. Dunno why but it acually is 45 gallons. Why not 45B?
