When to get rid of sea hare
My sea hare has done wonders for my tank. Now that it is running low or almost out of HA when do I know to get rid of him before he dies? About twenty snails, red leg crabs, three emeralds, lawnmower blenny, and a yellow tang are still there to help out besides my cleaning.

If there's nothing left for him to eat try and take him back and get a credit before it dies in your tank.

As soon as possible
If you have to, try substituting Nori sheets, romaine lettuce or sinking algae pellets (mine liked Danichi) till you can find him new home. He cannot survive forever off of these things, just possibly maintain him for a bit.

I won't say there is nothing, but he is wandering quite a bit today. Covered atleast half my tank and the glass. Probably meaning there isn't much left.

Wait, when you say romaine lettuce do you mean the stuff you get at the grocery store or is that actually fish/sea hare food?
