new aquarium
im starting a new 62 gallon aquarium up uk gallons im going to use egg creat to stand the rock on and 32 kg of feige live rock witch will stand on the egg creat then ill cover the egg creat with snnd the egg creat will have feet under neth it to hold it up 1 inch off the base of the aquarium i will be runing 2 tunze 6025 s for the flow the aquarium is a deltec microreef pluse witch iv just bought any advice on the mater will be well comed great forum

Be sure to have several supports under the egg crate, the rock is heavy. On the tanks that I have only one inch of sand in, I just place the rock on the bottom of the tank and then add sand. I think it looks a little more natural to bury the rock slightly in sand. There is no problem with raising the rock 1" if you like the look.

i agree. butting the sand around the rocks is a much better look...
