Koralia Evolutions

I just got my Koralia Evolutions on Thursday last week. The 750GPH model for my 55g tank. I love the flow, works great with the 55g tank, and My LPS seem to like it. It's not too much, and not too focused.

I've noticed when I turn the pumps off for feeding that when I turn them back on they sometimes start backwards. I turned the power strip off and back on, then one would start forwards and the other backwards. And strange things like that.

Is this a "feature" of the product, or is there something I can do to get them to run forward? Does it hurt them to run backward? or should I be contacting the company for warranty issues? It's hard for me to believe that 2 brand new ones would be defective in less than 3 days. Who knows though.

K. thanks. It was kind a cull since it dispersed water through the sides. Made for a better flow for my tank. I was wondering if this would damage or decrease the life expectancy of the pumps though.

As others have stated, there's an issue with them that Hydor has resolved with an updated part, just send them an email.
