G4 Skimmer
Hi,
Is a ASM G4 skimmer too much for a 120 gallon reef tank? Or should I stay with a G2 |

No such thing as over skimming when you can adjust the ASM skimmers like you can. If you ever plan on upgrading it will not hurt to have a bigger skimmer ready to go.

My fish store gave me couple of options for me, My sump size is 30 gallon, If I want to go with a G3 or a G4 skimmer, I will not able to set up a refugium.
The other option go with a G2 skimmer, which can be fit into a the drain chamber and use the second chamber as the refugium. Whats the best set up to go with? Apprecite any advise? |

Can you just move the baffles to accomidate the bigger skimmer and still have a refugium? I would think a 30 gallon sump would be plenty big enough for both.
