First Club Meeting

Our first club meeting will be July 24th at 6:30pm. All that is left is deciding on the location.

I've had a few suggestions on a place to meet. A mexican restaurant or Perkins were two I've heard.

I'd like to add a couple places that will accommodate a large group in case we end up with a crowd.

Old Country Store (they have a large area for meetings or groups) Buffet food
Brooksie's Barn (they have a large area upstairs for large groups) Buffet food

We'll give people time to find our forums and voice their opinions.

There will be a prize giveaway at our meeting.

We can do that too. We have plenty more members, but I've just got to get them to find our forum and start posting. Thanks for you input, Maynardjames. We can go with a cheaper place. There may be a few of you who not want to eat at a restaurant. That is fine, but we can we can still meet their and have our prize giveaway and meet one another. The place isn't important to me. Just as long as we get everyone participating so we can get things going.

See you all soon.

I live in Beech Bluff and have been reefing over 5 years. I would love to participate in the club. I am currently a charter member of the WTMRAC club and attend almost all meetings. However, I will be on my way back from diving in Puerto Rico on the 24th. Maybe August.

Hey, Vickie. Our meetings may not fall on the same meeting day as WTMRAC, so you may be able to get two meetings a month.

Welcome to the club!

Hey grats on getting the site and forum going. I know doing all this and getting sponsors was a time consuming task...well done!

I am not sure how many meetings and swaps I will be attending in the future but I am sure I will be making some now that there is a club so close to home.

I will chime in closer to the 24th on my status for that meet and greet.

Dave
