Biocube 29 lighting questions

Ok, so I have a 29G biocube that I am working on stocking and modding. I plan to keep primarily LPS. I am on to lighting now, and was wondering if anyone had ideas as far as the best way to go. I was thinking of either staying with the compact bulbs and upping the wattage or ditching the stock hood and getting a 4xT5 kit.

First question, has anyone had any experience with Current USA nova extreme or sundial with a biocube? And if so, how well did it work, and what if any mods did you have to do to get it to work well?

Next question, If I keep the stock hood, and dont do any addition of extra bulbs, is it possible to change the ballast and use 65 watt compact bulbs? The stock ones are only 35 watts and if I could get by with just changing the ballasts this could almost double my WPG.

Any ideas?
