Fish for 75 gallon ??
Hey lust thought id pick your brain's. We would like a colorfull active larger fish for in our 75 gallon reefsetup . I know some are considered Reef safe with cautiion. Im ok with that.
We have a wide area for them to swim in and not a rock wall. The rock work is 2 large islands with a small bridge. Around 90-100 lbs of rock. Stocking currently is 2 pajamas 2 ocilaris clowns, LM blenny and a Diamond goby. And corals -n- shrimp, crabs, snails. So what would you add ? |

I've got a Niger trigger in my 75 reef. He's reef safe with EXTREME caution. So far, he's small (about 3 inches) and is the perfect gentleman. But I guess I'm not really recommending it. He's eventually gonna get too big for my 75 and more and more likely to pick off crabs and shrimp and whatnot.
Anthias are pretty cool and are definitely reef safe. Ideally you would get 3 or so as they like being in groups. But they are really active and beautiful. They're the ultimate reef fish. Any video footage you see from reefs will undoubtedly have hundreds of anthias swimming about. |

Hippo or Yellow Tang! I think a 75g is just big enough for a 4" or so specimen.

Flame angel would be OK. But won't be really all that active or big. And a copper-banded is: A-Going to nip at your corals, and B-Going to probably die pretty quickly anyway. They're very hard to keep and are considered expert-level fish. |

And there's the coral nipping. They definitely eat some coral since people usually buy them to eat aiptasia, which they do very well. |
