Best Aquarium Heaters on the Market
Which are the best heaters out there? I was reading that generally the rule is between 2.5 watts and 5 watts per gallon (leaning towards 5) so I waned to know which brand to go with now.
Any help/advice would be great...thanks! |

Not sure there's a "best" out there. I always go for the Titanium heaters with a controller I can mount out where I can see it.
As far as heater size.... That depends on where the tank will be and the ambient temp. it is in. Also, I always get two smaller heaters instead of one big one. That way if one fails, you will still have one working. |

There are some real horror stories about the Marineland heaters exploding. I replaced mine with a Jaeger.

Jaeger is all I use, especially after reading about all the Marineland heaters exploding and blowing apart tanks and sumps.
