Awesome Peppermint Shrimp

So I went to the LFS today to buy some Aiptasia X to help me get rid of my two little aiptasia before they grow into a mother colony. They didn't have it, and only had some generic brand which I didn't know anything about. After talking with the LFS owner, he pointed me into the direction of the Peppermint Shrimp.

I knew from all the reading on this forum that they were either hit or miss. But for $10, I decided it would be a good idea to try it. Was getting ready to buy a shrimp anyway.

The shrimp has only been in my tank for 20 minutes, and right in front of me he destroyed one of my aiptasia. These things are awesome. The best thing is that if the aiptasia spreads because of the way he ate it, it only means more food for him. I guess I lucked out.

You can use some hot water in a applicator needle and kill it. I also heard that you can use some kalk paste to kill it.

Sweet. I had 3 tiny aipt that I sicked 2 peps on. It took about 2 weeks as I have a pretty big tank for a pep to roam around, but they all disappeared. They will eat pretty much anything handy, so I was surprised that they even found the aiptasia.
