Found some invertebrates in the tank


*some type of clove coral?


*a tunicate maybe?


*some sort of sponge?

Sorry the pics are so blurry, I had to crop them A LOT.





The last 2 are just random pics I took

Tank looks good! I would say that your ID was correct for all 3. The top pictures looks like a bunch of brown colonial stone polyps. Apart from that, ID looks right.

To be honest, the first pic actually looks like really brown Anthelia. The second tunicate or sponge. The third, most likely sponge.

Keep an eye on #3. I have found this black sponge growing under cyano when I siphoned off the bad stuff and have had no problem with it but a friend told me it spread and tried to encroach on his corals. If you have a problem, it is easy to remove. Just peel it off the rock with your fingers and discard. Comes off real easy in large pieces if you get your fingers under it. I don't think it is dangerous to us but you never know so wear gloves to be safe when touching anything in a reef tank.
