Kalk dosing and alkalinity
The question is: If I'm dosing Kalkwasser during the night do I need to forget about buffers or do I have to keep buying buffers to keep my alkalinity high, i like it around 12 Dkh 'cos my xenia pulsate better

yes you still need to stay on top of alk and cal
buy the two part [baking soda] and [food grade calcium] its very very cheap and easy to do |

All depends on your demand. I dose Kalk in my 120 and never add anything else.
