Koralia??

I'm thinking about upgrading my powereheads from a maxi 1200 and an aquaclear 30 to some koralias. The tank is a 55 gallon with alot of LPS and a few sps. Hopefully more sps when the current increases.

What size koralias would be best for a 55 without blasting my LPS?

I have no experience with koralias so it's hard for me to estimate the flow when my only experience is with the jet style powerheads.

I would recommend 2x Koralia 3's or 2x Koralia Evo 1050's as a good starting point. You may want to put in a third one down the line.

I had 2 3's in my 55. Placed in the back facing opposote corners of front glass. It was alot of flow. Loved it.

I have 2 Magnum 6 in my 150 and it moves really well.

I'd go K4s, buy 1 and see how you like it, if it doesn't blow the sand around get another. If it does then you can go down to K3.
