Issues with MP40 wet side
Ive had it for 2 years. Everytime I take it out for cleaning (every 6months, dip it in vineagar and water mix, and brush with toothbrush, then clean glass where it sits.) it makes noise and spins for a few days, then settles down and works fine. I adjust it a few times per day in the meantime.
I cleaned this Sunday, and it is still noisily clattering on and off (reef crest mode). Thats 4 days. Is this normal? Is there anything i can do to avoid this from happening?. Does it happen to anyone else? Thanks,

This is somewhat normal because the pump tends to seat when left in one position.
The spinning can be reduced by applying pressure with your hand to the wet side against the glass for about five seconds or so. Do this a few times and the spinning will slow down and eventually stop. The noise can be reduced through careful alignment, then let the pump stay in one place for a few days and it should seat back in and go away.
