What eats limpets ?
All,
I just added my CUC two days ago - and this morning I find the empty shell of one of my limpets. Now - the shell has a round hole drilled in it - not sure if this is how the animal lives; or if it is from some predator that consumes it ? That said - if it is the former over the latter - then I don't have much worries...I don't think the limpet was doing well to begin with (He didn't really latch on or move to a spot he liked) - so Im sure my CUC dispatched of his body. What else do you have in the tank?
Some Limpets do have a hole on the point of their shell though from what I remember.
