DARC Meeting - BBQ - Saturday July 24th 2-4pm @ ccampbell57's
Greetings,
This month we will be meeting in Highlands Ranch and enjoying the hospitality of Chris & Kelly Campbell. Many of you may be familiar with Chris and his pursuit for unique butterflies and angels from his postings here on Reef Central. Chris has a stunning, in wall, 600 gallon fish only tank (FOWLR). However, 'fish only' certainly doesn't describe the museum collection that he currently maintains; Clarion, Bandit, Blueline, Conspiculatus, Blueface, Venustus and Queen angels; a pair of Declivis and a Wrought Iron butterfly, plus some very cool critters currently in QT. A video preview of the tank is available here. Chris also has a 180 that is in the process of becoming an SPS dominated reef. It's a work in progress. Please plan on joining us for a great afternoon of food and fish geekness. Chris will BBQ burgers and dogs and the club will be providing chips, soft drinks and barley pops. Feel free to bring something to share or grill. Directions to Chris' place can be found here. So that we can plan on the correct amount of food and refreshments, please RSVP in this thread. Also, let us know what you might be bringing to share. We look forward to seeing you there. Please note: All nets must be checked at the door! -Rob

Count me in for at least two. I've also got some frags to donate, and will be able to bring dessert (probably popsicles and butter mochi for the adults).

I've had several folks respond via e-mail and our Facebook page that they will be attending. Please RSVP so we can plan the correct amount of food. Whichever method you prefer is fine......
Thanks!

Wow!
What absolutely beautiful fish! Thanks so much to Chris & Kelly for hosting the event. I really enjoyed the educational conversations on fish collection & husbandry during quarantine. Can't wait to see the progress on the SPS dominated reef tank. ** Look for further posts about the great meeting planned for August & September.**

It was an honor to have everyone over to the house to see my passions. My reef will be taking shape in the coming months and with some good husbandry will be a new addiction.
Can't wait to see others.
