Finally got my swc 160 skimmer!

So iv been patiently waiting(not really) for my swc 160 xtreme cone skimmer to get into age of aquariums I just set it up nice skimmer bearly fit in my sump but got it in I'm running it on a 46 gallon bowfront so it's more then enough

i love my 250a1 cone. brings out the darkest skim i have ever seen!

Thanks! There is already like 100000 times more bubbles being made compared to my mini g I was running! So it's a huge upgrade on skimmer for sure just gotta wait for it to start getting all the nasty stuff out. I had no skimmer for About a month

Nice! I really like those skimmers, just wished they made one size bigger.

Welcome to the club.

Looks like they changed out the clear acrylic for white acrylic for the bubble plate. Neat!

They do they make a new 180 but they are sold out. actually i just checked their website and they have 2 left. talk to the guy named Luke, totally cool guy. I just got a bigger cup for my 160 and a mod for my pump

They alos made the cup larger, neck is the same size diamter of cup is same size. but collection cup goes to near the bottom of neck now instead of starting 2+ inches up from neck... Nothing changes on the skimmer except the cup can hold larger volume of skimmate... guess it was filling up to quickly.

Nice skimmer!!! just wait til it breaks in

oh shnaps... i didn't notice they have a bigger cup... where do i get the cup...??!!!

THE CUP!!!!!!!!!...







and the 160 comes with the meshmod... well... like a hybrid pin/mesh wheel... ta-dow...
