which sps would you pick out of these two
i am in the middle of doing a trade and i have a choice of either a idaho grape montipora or tri color valida acropora wich one would you choose. which one has the nicest color?

I would go with the tri color acro. I have a huge grape monti cap, and love it, but it doesn't do as much for me as my acros. It really all depends on what you like and want to have in your tank.

Tri color for sure. The Idaho grape isnt as nice imo.

Another vote for Tri color. The monti will out grow the space in no time. They really take up alot of room too.

Tricolor for sure. I have both and the tricolor is by far more atractive.

Idaho grape was the most invansive SPS I've ever put in my tank. It took multiple kalk attacks to get rid of it completely.

Another +1 for the tri. However i would pick whichever one you personally enjoy more. A fast growing monti is a good confidence booster for someone just getting into sps; but eventually you will want it gone to make room for other pieces. Just my 2cents

Tri as well, I have both too and would love to trade my Idaho Grape for anything...there are so many other monti's out there that are soooo much better looking / interesting.
