Arrow Building a new 75!

I couldn't stand it. The 30 biocube was just too small. Already. I now have a 75 gallon tank, sand, rock, a nice 2x150 hqi/ 2x48" pc actinic with 3 led moonlights. I am still a few pieces short of being able to get this all together though. I am looking at getting the CPR CS overflow system since my tank is not drilled. Also looking at a 20 long for the sump. Will have to build it with some baffles for the refugium and the skimmer. Going to put in a couple of Koralia evo750's and probably a maxijet 3000 for the return.

I am not really sure what I should go with as far as the skimmer. I definitely want to stick with in sump. Anyone have any suggestions?

Also, I am in need of a stand for this tank. I really am not too concerned with what color/wood it is. I would prefer black, but anything will work. I would like something with doors with enough clearance to get the sump underneath. Has anyone seen/heard of anything like this locally?

Also I am open for any suggestions anyone has to additions or edits to this list of gear. Let me know what you guys think! I still consider myself new to this, and this is quite a step up from the biocube, so any and all help is much appreciated!!

How about drill the tank instead of buying the overflow...

If you drill it you would not need an over flow... Did you see how I had my nano set up?

+1 on drilling it, also if you want a overflow you can make your own out of acrylic like I did.

That overflow looks real nice. Wish I were not mechanically challenged.

I have some metal racking which works real well for stands - but it's not pretty.
The vertical pieces can be machine cut to whatever height you want. There are openings on the vertical pieces every inch or so to put the horizontal pieces in at whatever height - so you are picking the height of the top shelf as well as the height of the bottom shelf. I have quite a few vertical and horizontal pieces left over from a pet wholesaler. I know I have some 18" pieces. I'm not sure if I have any 48" but for sure I have some 60". If anyone else cares I also have 24" and 72". Sorry I don't have any pics but you're welcome to come by and take a look.

not yet frankie. The tank is in the closet, cant do anything with it until I get a stand, but on a side note I may have just gotten another reef ready tank with a stand. Ill know more tomorrow on that. As for the other stuff the lights will be coming in this weekend or next weekend, and I also have about 100lbs of live sand and about 90lbs of live rock already cured from an established tank. So I am hoping that once I get all of the components together the setup should actually go relatively quick.

LONG weekend

Well, its been a lot of work all weekend, but I went from an un-drilled tank and stand to this this weekend. Thanks to Frankie for help with the drilling! and Kham for helping with all the plumbing! I think we did a pretty good job for as much was done in such a short time. Here are some pics of the new setup! hope everyone enjoys. there will be more to come.
