Small things on my glass

I have a 150G with a sump. Where my return line is at there are small thingys on my glass. I could not get a picture becsaue of how small they are. They are stationary. They look like tiny anenomes..... I do not have any aiptasias on my rock so i don't believe those are it. I did add some rubble rock but i didn't see aything similar on the the rock to the thingys. They kinda look like star fish possibly but they transparent. So i am not sure at all what they are. I do know they are not copepods. I just want to know what they are more than anything and make sure they are not harmful. I couldn't take pictures becasue of the size. The picture just looked like a blob. Sorry
Thanks for the help!

Scypha sponges maybe? Other possibilities would be hydroid jellies, spirorbid worms.

You can't give a description like that and not say what they are! I want to know what the star trek things are even if I don't have them!

lol @ bmiller1234.

Are they they little purple and green colored things, shaped like the rolling stones lips logo, but with antennae shaped like figure 8s? because I would have no idea what those were.

I have a similar problem with these little guys. If they are on the glass I usually take the mag-float and wipe them out. My wrasse, goby and clown tend to pick them off rocks and the current but they still seem to come back. Kinda helps with feeding though.

Would mandarin's eat them? If so it might be a good thing.

Yes, I was going for the flatworms. The clear semi-innocent kind

the hydroids I have in my tank are long and gangly white and they retract when you put light on them.
I suppose there are different kinds

Mine are on the glass and appear to almost double in amount daily. I hope they go away soon. Good news is i do not have any coral. Bad news is they are everywhere. What about a 6 line wrasse will they eat these guys up for me? or some other type of wrasse? and what do they eat so i can try to starve the little bastards.
