20 gallon tall build walkthrough

Hey guys. I have been waiting to finally start up my 20 gallon and I finally have.
Any questions please ask and I will probably be asking some too.
Help would be nice for its my first 20 gallon and generally first reef build by myself.

So i'm going to mod my aquaclear 70 for a fuge, but waiting to get some silicone.
The closest place is petsmart but don't know if the silicone is good for it.
Heres a link. Will I be able to use it for the mod?

i don't see why not. I have done some false walls in tanks, and used that. It works great! Your off to a great start. What filter is that on the right?

Thanks. It would be the easiest for me to go and get.
Heres a quick equipment list.

Lighting: Fishneedit.com 2 foot/ 4x24 bulb T5-HO
Filters: Aquaclear 70/300 will be modded to fuge + temp. Whisper ex30 for carbon.
Powerhead: Temp. 90GPH PH until my new debit card comes in so I can order 2 Koralia nano 425's.
Sand: 20 pounds arag-alive 1mm- 2mm sand. The thicker sand.
Used RO to fill up.
