Maroon clownfish breeding
I have a mated pair of maroon gold stripe clownfish, that i got form a guy that said they have been breeding for 2 years, and i have had them for three and a half months and still no eggs the have 3 anemones a rose, green, and regular bubble tip anemone. I am giving them omaga inriched brine to promote breeding and nothing.

If you trust the source of the fish then it is just a matter of patience. I picked up my breeding pair from the boards here and it took about 4 months for them to lay their first nest. Now they spawn regularly.
Try a variety of foods, if possible try several small feedings per day instead of a single large one. Maybe crank up the heat a couple degrees. Remove any tankmates, if they exist, that may harass the pair. In all honesty, just be patient and provide them with the best possible living conditions. Kurt |
