Skimmer for heavy bioload 120g? SWC 200 Xtreme?
I am looking for suggestions for a skimmer for my 120g (estimated circulating volume). I have another thread geared more towards my current sump minimum dimensions, but this thread is for option number 2. The minimum dimension will either be 10.5" or 13.5" by 17". So I am looking for the best skimmer for my needs. I am looking for a well built energy efficient skimmer. Also looking for a good pump- preferably an askoll, but a BB is more feasible. Cost is not a huge concern, however I would like to keep it under $400. currently have a MRC 2R, which is a pure beast, but the pump draws alot of power. I am not a huge fan of the 2 pump skimmers or cones, although they are growing on me.
Considering the SWC 200 Xtreme. Any input/recommendations would be great.
