Coral Rx? Dipping tips please.

Hi - I recently added a small xenia frag, 1 single mushroom, a little patch of zoas, and a candy cane coral (which I'm beginning to think wasn't that healthy when I bought it ) to my tank.

Or course, I did this all without dipping or otherwise QTing the pieces. Now I'm wondering if I should bother dipping them now? Or at least the candy cane?

I've seen some decent reviews on various forums about Coral Rx, but I can't find it online anywhere (at least not at my two usual shopping places - MD & DFS) - anyone know where I can get this?

Or know of any other specific, general purpose dipping treatments I should use? In all honestly, at this point in my hobby, I sincerely doubt I'll start QTing corals anytime soon and would like to use at least some kind of dip. (I'm spending all of my extra money on modifications, upgrades, other neat and expensive stuff on my DT - just don't have the extra-extra income to dump into a coral QT)

Anyway, thanks for the help.

I used ReVive and its always done a good job. Just don't accidentally pour the ReVive water in the tank like I did once the skimmer went nuts for days. I probably wouldn't worry dipping what you already have. If there were pests on the piece they are already in the tank so a little late for prevention.

CoralRX really only needs to be used if your corals are attatched to a rock. When it comes to candy canes, i inspect the base and if no parasites are seen add the coral straight to the tank. Xenia will most likely not have a parasite living directly on them, but mostly inside of the rocks that they are attached to. I generally will not dip any LPS or softies, just inspect the corals and/or remove them from the attached rock and add your own rock.
