Keeping a pyramid butterfly with a copperband butterfly
I've had a copperband for 3 years and now i would like to add a pyramid. Do you see any problems with this? The tank is a 125.

Don't want to hijack your thread but I am interested in everyones opinion as I have just done this. In the last couple of weeks have purchased a school of pyramids along with a copperband. They are all in quarantine together and have had no issues. They were all added at the same time, should I expect issues?

While I don't have a Copperband housed with a Pyramid, I can say that with the differences in the shape of the body between the two fish, they should do just fine. I have a Copperband, Lemon and a Burgess all together in the same tank and they hang out like they're best friends. I'm hoping to add a Bluestripe (if I can find one) and a Pearlscale or Pakistan in the future, I just hope that move wont throw off the harmony that exists right now. -Steve
