Is it just the tank? Does it have any equipment coming with it or anything?

Well I'm up to price terms on tanks.. Thats a huge fish tank.. if you have the money to spend. I'd go for it. Try and talk him down to 950 maybe.

It seems a little expensive to me. Maybe try 900 or so?

LOL does anyone know what there talking about

price goes hand in hand with condition, a scratched up 460 is not worth $500 a beautiful well kept 460 is worth thousands.

Its a nice tank, was owned by an aquarium shop owner. He built it in wall at his house. No major scratches, well kept, just happens to be the tank only.

Glass Cages (one of the more affordable custom aquarium builders) sells their 300G acrylic for slightly over $2000. Yes I would say $1000 is a great deal for what you are getting. Considering he is a shop owner and has access to a truck and staff I would probably have him throw in delivery and the help you need to get it up on the stand or whatever your going do with it.

If its in excellent condition it would be worth it. Just thinking about all the equipment to run a 460g would cost $$$. If you got the money then why not.
