help with ID?
what is this? theyr about 6mm in diameter, clear, and have olive drab green tips, or ends. the whole patch is about the size of an average thumb print.
![]() thought they might be bubble algae (valonia) at first... but i noticed they were smaller and clear.... not green and marble like thank you

I've had bubble algae in my tank that looks similar to that. It eventually turned completely green.

Looks like bubble algae indeed. It comes in all shapes and colors, you should see the red that I have--pretty cool looking. I'd suck it out.

They look almost like eggs of some sort. They seem to be slimy
Valonia is hard and shiny |
