Water level heigth for ASM G4 skimmer

I just picked up a ASM G4 it has a sedra 5000 or the primary pump then a sicce psk-2500 pump for the recirculating mod.. I'm working on my sump and trying to figure out what I need to set the water level at in the skimmer chamber???? I can't seem to find any directions online..

Also I'm planning on adding a gate valve modification to the standpipe as well

Thanks

I run my G3 in about 8" of water, and also use a Sicce for recirculating. I think originally it was suggested about 8 to 10" of water.

I would do 11" and place the skimmer on a stand until you get the sweet spot. My G4 ran in about 9" of water. I wished I had a bigger section in my sump so I could have just a little more water volume. GL.
