36x24x15 tank LED Lighting Options, Ecoxotic light canon?

I am looking at trying to get the best LED lighting option for the new tank that I can find. Originally I was considering using two 17" Ecoxotic lights because I like how they can fold up and they seem to be a pretty decent option. Especially with the stunner strips and ability to customize. I also think they will give me less light spill.

Now they have the new light cannons out and I am considering two one 12k and one 453nm. I wanted to get a 453nm first and see how it looks but its a pretty decent investment for something if I dont like it.

Tank will have a mix of sps, lps, and softies. What do you guys think?

You said your looking for the best? If you have the money I would think AquaIllumination 36". Other than that the ecoexotic ones look pretty nice but seem kinda expensive compared to others like ecoray or illuminarium. I don't have any experience with these LEDs just been looking around for a while researching before i buy.

Ya, I was looking at them, but I'm not a big fan of how the fixture itself looks. I know that should take back seat to performance. On sanjays review it show the aquaillumination as more powerful than the ecoxotic, but I'm not sure if I would really need that since the tank is only 15" deep.

I know the light cannons I believe were tested to 14' and would be way strong for my tank so If I went that route I might need a way to dim them down a bit.

Also, since this will be in my bedroom I am concerned with the use of fans on their fins to cool it down. I want the tank as quite as possible!
