ich.....?

hai guys i found my tangs and clown r suffering from ich...therefore i decided to go for hyposalinity...in q.t.and place clowns and tangs there for 30 days...!before placing them in q.t.....someone suggest me to do f.w or formalin bath with powderblue tangs and clowns...!is it right..if yes so what is the method....

If they are already showing signs of ich I would just start hypo ASAP. No need to stress them with any dips. Just get them in the QT, slowly bring down the salinity, and try to keep the stress down as much as possible. Monitor ammonia levels and remove any uneaten food.

You will probably have to do a water change every 1 to 3 days. You can get one of the seachem ammonia badges, they should have them at petsmart if no other lfs has them.
