Seachen stability to help cycle

I'm cycling my 120 now, just added three raw shrimp last night. I have two bottles of stability at home for QT help. Would it be worth it or benificial to add to my 120 and would it help the cycle?

Don't you have one established tank already? I would just add a cupfull of sand and/or one piece of liverock from there, and keep the Stability for QT. The 120 will stay fallow for 4-6 weeks anyway, right?

I used stability in my tank with great success. My tank cycled in about 2.5 weeks ircc.

True on all points. I was just wondering if it would help. I'm not really wanting to take anything out of the 55 just yet as it does have ich and I don't want to transfer that to the 120. Once everything is through QT and nothing remains in the 55 it goes fallow to get rid of the ich.

I would NOT add any raw shrimp, but instead use the Stability and then add the fish at the same time.

I use Stability to bring up a QT each time I use it, and just after 2 weeks cycled my 300g with Stability...I have never seen any ammonia with the use of Stability...works great!

That scares me a little doing it that way. I would start out by dropping a rabbitfish and a blue tang into a brand new tank that went through a 4 week+ QT period. I'd hate to have something happen to them now.

I think I seen one of your other posts about the stability, that is where I got the idea from. Just wondering if it would help.
