Please HELP!!! ALL FISHIES ARE DYING!

So let me give you a bit of background. I'm 15 and i live in SoCal and i recently fell in love <33!! with fishies! The only fishies that i have ever keept before were gold fish! But now i want prettier fish so i can feel like the ocean is in my room! My daddy has bought me a pretty saltwater fishtank form the pet store called a bio cube or sumthing like that. i got the biggest one because i want a lot of fishies. It has this weird light thingy on an arm over it. I set the fish tank up with my daddys help. I read somewhere on here that you need lots and lots of sand and rocks for a filter. i bought this pink and blue sand ( i wanted somthing prertty) and some colorful rocks and some white ones, anyways it looks really pretty!! After we set up the rocks we put in the salt. I didint know how much to put. i put in however much it said on the salt bag for every gallon. my dad told me it is 30 gallons. The girl at petco told me that i did not have to have a heater thingy because my room will keep the fishtank warm. I figured she was right because my goldfish didint have a heater and it did fine! After we filled the tank up with water we bought cute fishies!! My daddy said i can buy any fishies i wanted <3!!!1 i bought 2 blue dories, 3 nemos, the zack shrimp that cleans everything, a pink tentacly nemo home, a butter fly fishie!, and 2 yellow fishies that looks like a school buss. I didint want any snails because they look icky! when i woke up today morning ( three days after i bought my fishes) a dory, a shrimp, and a yellow fishie are dead, and the other dory has white dots on her. Whats happening with my fishes!!! help me please!!! (

Wow your tank needs to cycle before you add anything. You need to get the fish to someone who can care for them properly. It sounds like your fish have ich. Blue hippo tangs or "Dory" need a tank that is at least 125 gallons your tank is only thirty gallons and you have two in there?!?!? The clownfish will not live in groups of three. The anemone "nemo's home" will not live in that tank for long there are so many reasons why.... they need very established tanks they need very intense lighting and they will outgrow your tank but it will not live long enough to grow at all. You do need a heater for your tank. You need to do a ton of reading.

lol yes she is wrong!!! petco employees will tell you whatever they have to, to get you to buy stuff. use the search for what is a cycle. You shouldnt have any fish in there for at leat a few weeks.

lol Mike.

Zack? The name of the shrimp was Jacque.

Also, I think the Bio-Cube with the "wierd arm light thing" is an HQI MH which is enough for the nem. (I think they have 250w standard?)

There are so many things wrong in the op's post that I need three hands to count them all.

EDIT: Can you post a picture of your tank?

+1. Something's 'fishy' here. you wanted the 'biggest' tank, but don't know how big it is? Is your dad helping you with this? Methinks after dumping that kind of money into a tank and fish, daddy would be interested in maintaining his investment.......
