Nice! Are you going to glue them all together like that?
I would... esp that center one. |

Nice. Or you can incorporate the middle mound to the left and make it slope toward the middle. Will make lots of room in the middle of the two mounds. But I like what you did.

That looks to be a good start...If there is on truth in aquascaping, no matter what you start with you will change it somehow. With that in mind, gluing is a good idea, but I would wait till your 100% happy with your arrangement.

I "try" to keep a minimal amount of rock on the bottom surface as to allow food
and other "crap" to keep moving and thus suspended in the water flow. I use that putty stuff the LFS sells to accomplish this. It helps to have some pieces that are thinner shaped to accomplish this. So I make sure to allow big holes between the bottom pieces touching the bottom to make sure flow gets right on in there. As I go up it can get "denser". In my past tanks I always seemed to make a aqua scape mistake that allowed newly fed food to be sucked into a rock crevice never to come back out. We all know what that does for our nitrates... Also consider coral placement. Do not make the mistake of creating a scape in prime light area that is very difficult to get frags onto. Try to go up near the left and right sides of the tank and slope downward from there. Always allow enough room to clean the glass though! |

they will be expoxyed together and i should be able to clean the glass still, my mag cleaner has like 1/8" clearance on the tightest spot.
thanks for all the ideas |
